Denis Hinds, the firm’s Principal, has nearly 40 years of practice experience and Paula Homersham, the firm’s Senior Solicitor/Associate, has been practising for almost 30 years.
The firm operates in most areas of the law including business & commercial, conveyancing & property, wills, probate & estate planning, family law & de facto relationships, liquor licensing, commercial & general litigation, debt recovery, lease & tenancy laws.
HOURS OF BUSINESS
Office hours are from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. Arrangements can be made to see clients outside of these hours at our standard rate.
HOME VISITS
Home visits can also be arranged, either during or after office hours, including weekends if required. Costs for this service are at our standard rate, with no additional premium charged.
PARKING
As a city based law firm we understand that parking can be difficult. Please see the contact us page for parking stations located within walking distance of our office.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
C E Chapman & Co takes an active interest in community activities and in the environment, including:
Randwick Petersham Cricket Club
C E Chapman & Co supports Randwick Petersham Cricket Club, having been a financial sponsor for many years. Denis Hinds is a life member of the Club and devotes many hours of his own time to the training and mentoring of junior cricketers.
Members of staff have been involved in the 100 km Oxfam Trailwalk both as participants and support crew. This annual event raises money for disadvantaged people in 26 countries around the world.
Held in the Blue Mountains each year this 100k walk raises money for Wilderness Society campaigns for the protection of our climate, rivers and wilderness areas. Staff members have been involved in this event as participants and support crew.
Mouth and Foot Painting Artists
We support the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (MFPA) who have provided our Christmas cards for clients and staff for many years.
All postage stamps received in the office are collected and donated to Sydney Dogs and Cats Home who sell them to raise funds.
The Environment and Recycling
We have introduced recycling of paper and ink cartridges and we ensure all lights and other electrical devices and computers are switched off when not in use or overnight. We support Earth Hour and also encourage clients to do so.
